Learn about phonographs and  Rowley’s music collection Oct 12

The Rowley House Museum is home to a select group of music recording and playback machines from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Most recently, the Debs family graciously donated an Edison C-150 Diamond Disc Phonograph and discs in good working order to the Middleton Area Historical Society. We’re inviting the public to attend an Open House on Saturday, October 12th at 11 am to learn more about the machines and their workings. If you love music, you’ll love this presentation!

Scott Malawski, a Madison resident for eight years, is a seasoned speaker and author who found his passion for these technologies over 30 years ago, when looking for decorative items for his apartment.  He will be giving a special presentation at the Rowley House Museum with a focus on our marvelous musical machines collection.
