The 1868 Dr. Rowley residence is filled with hundreds of artifacts used by early Middleton people. The building has been placed on the National Registry of Historic Places. It features one of the largest and most comprehensive displays of Depression Glass in the Midwestern US, with over 150 identified glass patterns. The Carriage House, with a life-size horse and doctor’s buggy, showcases a wide variety of early farm implements and tools.

The museum is open from 1-4 p.m. on Tuesdays and Saturdays, from Mid-April to Mid-October (or by appointment).  We are located at 7410 Hubbard Avenue in downtown Middleton, next door to City Hall (map). Phone: (608) 836-1375. Admission to the museum is free.
